When was the last room renovation completed at Altira Macau?

Altira Macau first opened in 2007 as Crown Macau and was rebranded two years later with a renovation in 2009. The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel, designed by Peter Remedios, is a modern urban oasis that is absolutely stunning and sparkling. You’ll find it feels fresh and new. The design is classically warm and inviting and the technology, though fairly sparse, feels state-of-the-art. No expense was spared in that renovation and rebranding and we think you will be pleasantly surprised by Altira’s small-scale luxurious appeal as a resort-like getaway from everyday life with award-winning restaurants, spa and pool.

Sometimes change is not only necessary, but a really good thing. Altira Macau was formerly known as Crown Macau. However, the opening of Crown Towers Macau in June 2009 (part of the City of Dreams development) caused us to change switch our name to Altira Macau and to undergo a massive facelift and renovation. We emerged better than ever, offering you the ultimate luxury in accommodations. Renowned designer Peter Remédios created the interior aesthetic, combining comfort and style to elegant effect. We are home to five sensational culinary experiences, chic bars, an award-winning pool, spa and exclusive membership clubs.
