Altira Macau is somewhat isolated from shopping, as there are not any shops in the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel. But that can be fixed with a 10-minute shuttle over to City of Dreams, the luxury hotel's sister property, where you’ll find all of the shops and restaurants at The Boulevard. The collection of boutiques includes luxury brands as well as camera shops and tons of places to spend all of that money you won at the casino. Our Forbes Travel Guide editors have never seen more watch shops in one area. If that’s not enough, you can also hop the shuttle and explore the hundreds of luxury and international shopping brands at both The Venetian and the Four Seasons, which are connected and just across the street from City of Dreams.
It wouldn’t be a vacation without a little shopping. Whether you want to spend your cash on designer brands or explore the authentic shops in the area, our location at Altira Macau puts you close to both. If you want to shop the high-end designer labels, head to The Boulevard at the City of Dreams property and exercise your credit card at Bally, Burberry, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Tumi and many more. Shops at The Venetian and other mega resorts around us also feature high-end stores. If you wish to explore the more authentic parts of the area, Taipa offers a weekly flea market in the heart of Taipa Village. The lines of stalls in the bustling market give you ample opportunities to pick up traditional gifts, fresh produce, toys and clothes while soaking in the cultural environment. When you want to break away from the ultra-luxurious atmosphere of our hotel at Altira Macau, the market in Taipa offers a fresh alternative for you during your stay. Taipa is also known for is its traditional cookies — peruse the streets on the island and find the old village shops that have been baking and selling the same yummy treats for generations.
