While views of the Intracoastal are nothing to scoff at, the best rooms to stay in at Acqualina Resort & Spa would have to be the Deluxe One-, Two- or Three-bedroom Oceanfront Suites, depending on the size of your family or group. These suites include the fantastic benefit of full gourmet kitchens and a dining space, large terraces, separate bathrooms and in some cases, a den/study that can also serve as an extra bedroom.
Through floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows, the blue and turquoise shades of the ocean fill these rooms as if they were murals, and the off-white neutral hues of the furniture appear even more elegant when bathed in natural sunlight. These suites are comfortable for families, romantic retreats for couples, indulgent spreads for business travelers, and comfy pads for girlfriend getaways or friends traveling together. Consider them Acqualina’s one-size-fits-all rooms.
The three-bedroom suites are the newest addition to the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel, however, and we love the 2,375 square foot, 35th floor accommodations. They boast three bathrooms, private terraces with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, a large living room and two sitting spaces with a media area offering the latest in gaming consoles with an embedded DVD and Blu-Ray player and even a wine bar station. Each suite also features a full gourmet kitchen with Sub-Zero built-in refrigerator/freezer, granite countertops, microwave, dishwasher and stainless-steel sink. The master bedroom in the Deluxe Three Bedroom Oceanfront Suites features a king size bed, walk-in closet, 42-inch TV and Sony Dash Personal Internet Viewer, while the family bedrooms come with a full private bathroom and two twin beds which can be bridged together to a large king. Whether you are traveling with the kids or simply want additional room to relax and hang out, we know that these rooms will instantly please and delight the most discriminating traveler.
