The main bar at Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Acqualina Resort & Spa is inside the new AQ by Acqualina restaurant. The Bar at AQ by Acqualina continues the theme of serious fun — with a unique selection of both Old and New World wines, including biodynamic and sustainable vintages when possible. Cocktails are hand-crafted, with a nod to the golden era of cocktails, and an extensive selection of single malt whiskeys are a hallmark of the available selections.
The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star resort’s fine-dining restaurant Il Mulino New York also has a small bar that’s perfect for sipping on a drink before your meal or for couples to imbibe and snack. Il Mulino’s bar manager Brian Diaz has crafted some interesting signature cocktails, including the Mamma Mia, made with red pepper and parsley-infused tequila and shaken with fresh sour mix, brown sugar and cucumber, served straight up in a martini glass.
Drinks (including wine) are also served on the beach and poolside, from the outdoor Costa Grill. Popular cocktails there include a piña colada (with frozen white rum, pineapple juice, coconut milk and Myer’s Rum), tropical punch (made with red wine, brandy, triple sec, amaretto and mixed fruit) and white sangria (made with white wine, triple sec, peach schnapps, coconut rum, pineapple juice and a splash of Sprite). You can order them by the glass or the pitcher.
