We love the contemporary look of the rooms at Dream Downtown with their silver honeycomb-patterned wallpaper and metallic tones throughout the space. They are accented by the clean, white bedframe and desk. The fun, hip rooms almost make you feel like you’re at sea with their oversized porthole windows. As the hotel is in downtown Manhattan, the rooms tends to run on the smaller side, around 300 square feet, until you reach the platinum level (those accommodations start out at 500 square feet). They can feel a little cramped and aren’t good for entertaining guests, which is just fine because the lobby and PH-D nightclub offer more than enough imbibing and lounging options. The rooms are where you’ll recline and recover from the night before or step out on your Juliet balcony to gaze over the pool and watch the vibrant scene that unfolds there, whether the crowd has gathered for a volleyball game or to simply enjoying sparkling beverages while floating in the water.
