Trump International Hotel & Tower New York is as pet friendly as any dog-loving Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star luxury hotel. Its Trump Pets program, which debuted in February 2010, caters to dogs under 25 pounds. Heavier pooches or other pets will need to stay home or board elsewhere. Your pet will get treated like top dog, with perks like a doggie room service menu that features dishes served on croc-embossed placemats. And there’s no need to bring your pup’s bed: The New York hotel supplies a cozy, plush dog bed and blanket.
The Manhattan hotel charges a cleaning fee of $250 for your canine companion, but if it means you can bring Fido along to explore the city, we think it’s worth it. The luxury hotel provides the three B’s that dogs care about most: bowls filled with bottled water and naturally, biscuits and bones. The concierge will give you a map of the city, including dog-friendly parks and fun outdoor spots. If you’re here for business but don’t want to leave Fido at home, the concierge can also arrange for a dog-walking service to take care of your pup’s needs when you’re busy.
