The upscale Midtown Manhattan eatery, helmed by chef Michael White, recently launched a Sunday brunch (11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) that is sure to be the talk of the town, if not for its vast assortment of treats from its buffet-style food selection, but for the live entertainment thanks to a captivating cellist. Start your brunch off right with a classic cocktail such as a mimosa or Bloody Mary, or opt for one of the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star restaurant's specialty libations such as an Ambrosiana (Russian Standard vodka, Aperol, pineapple and vanilla) or a Baedeker (Hayman’s Old Tom gin, Root spirit, lime and ginger). Either way, you can’t go wrong. A thoughtfully organized buffet station comes chock-full of bites such as charcuterie and housemade pâté, seasonal fruits, croissants, muffins, yogurt and granola and even petit fours.
If you’re in the mood for a more substantial meal, don’t fret. Ai Fiori’s brunch menu runs the gamut from classic eggs Benedict or a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich to egg yolk ravioli with chanterelles, basil and tomato confit or the restaurant’s signature White Label burger made with bacon marmalade, American cheese, McClure’s pickles and a fried egg. The options keep on coming with sides such as crispy marble potatoes, rapini or Nueske’s applewood smoked bacon, too. And of course, with Ai Fiori’s prime position near some of the Big Apple’s best attractions, you can easily explore the city after you’ve sufficiently satisfied your stomach.
