What are the locker rooms like at La Prairie at The Ritz-Carlton Spa?

The locker rooms at La Prairie at The Ritz-Carlton Spa are, surprisingly, the most grandly appointed space in the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star spa. Gleaming white-and-pewter hued marble adorns the floor and sinks and gives the pristine space a modern, yet stately feel. Eighteen lockers line the right and left walls of the main room with a handful of sinks along the back wall for post-treatment touch-ups. Farther back, you’ll find two private showers and two private toilets along with a steam room for pre- or post-treatment lolling, with a basin of ice-chilled cucumbers standing guard outside. The locker room is fully stocked with towels and all the requisite toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash and razors. The locker rooms more than match the luxury you’d associate with the rest of the New York spa, and in some ways, even surpasses it.
