The relaxation area at The Spa at Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City has separate spaces for men and women. Both are large, rectangular rooms filled with plush loungers and chairs for you to sink into, as well as a couple of nooks where you can pull back the curtains for a nap. You can grab a magazine or newspaper from the ottoman to read while you wait, or watch TV on the large flat screen. Along one wall you’ll discover that some light and healthy snacks are laid out for you to nibble on: sunflower seeds, a blend of raisins and dried cranberries, a spiced trail mix and fresh apples. You can also fix yourself a mug of hot tea to warm you up next to the fireplace — perfect if you’re visiting the spa after a long day of skiing in Park City. Each relaxation room has access to the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa’s amenities, which include a steam room and hot and cold plunge pools.

There are separate relaxation rooms for men and women to wait for their therapist. Couples receiving treatments have use of a couple’s relaxation room. The relaxation rooms are dimmed and there are plush couches, chairs and fireplaces. Water, hot tea and snacks are provided for guests to enjoy. There are benches with a curtain for privacy and various magazines for reading pleasure.
