Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire offers a wealth of dining options for kids. For small ones, there is the Little Kids for All Seasons menu served 11:30 a.m. through 11:30 p.m. These dishes are free and perfectly suited to children younger than 18 months, with options including tomato soup, rice porridge, pasta with tomato sauce, oatmeal, pear puree and rice cereal.
For older kids, the menu is broken up into three parts. Breakfast bites include scrambled egg on toast, porridge, a small Hampshire Breakfast and buttermilk pancakes with Maple Syrup (lest we forget this is a Canadian chain). Mains include fish fingers, soup, pizza, salad, toad in the hole with mash, hot dog, mini fish and chips and fillet steak medallion. And drinks including milkshakes and smoothies, old-fashioned lemonade, milk and juice.
Also, while not specifically aimed at kids, the Dogmersfield Picnic Baskets are perfect for families who want to spend the day exploring the grounds. Choose from four options: the Dogmersfield Ploughman's Lunch (cheeses and roast meats with bread and chutney), the Vegetarian Basket (grilled vegetarian sandwiches, crisps and cakes), the Tea to Go (seasonal sandwiches, French pastries, scones and, of course, tea) and the Winnie the Pooh Picnic (kids' finger sandwiches, crisps, carrot sticks and chocolate chip cookies).
