The Gil Hanse-designed Fields Ranch East course is a walking-only experience, and caddies are required for each player. Winds are notoriously predictable and strong, adding an extra challenge.
Dining venues, terraces and the central lawn create a defined hub that encourages guests to move easily among activities. Kids are as happy as grownups here, and the par-3 course (The Swing) is great for beginners. Club rentals are available — a few wedges and a putter are usually all that’s required.
