Octavius Tower by Caesars Palace and Augustus Tower by Caesars Palace

A quiet Las Vegas retreat
Octavius Tower by Caesars Palace and Augustus Tower by Caesars Palace is a boutique hotel within the massive Caesars Palace complex in Las Vegas.

It combines the best of both worlds: You have easy access to all that Caesars has to offer (restaurants, shops and entertainment), but you can retreat from the Las Vegas hubbub and unwind in the peace and quiet of your swanky room.

The rooms are spacious with contemporary décor and vivid pops of color, and the amenities such as Anichini linens and marble bathrooms up the ante on luxury.

When it's time to relax, make your way to the Roman baths at QUA Baths & Spa in the Augustus Tower. The decadent Restaurant Guy Savoy is also located in the Augustus Tower.
Our Inspector's Highlights
  • A luxury hotel within a massive resort, it sits inside Caesars Palace. Not only do you have all of Caesars at your fingertips, but its location makes the Strip your oyster.
  • Meant to resemble an ancient palace, the outdoor Garden of the Gods pool complex — seven unique pools named after the Roman gods — is the place to see and be seen come bikini season.
  • Located in the Augustus Tower, the QUA Baths & Spa is where you’ll want to go to really melt away the tension from gambling and crowds. It boasts three deluxe couple's studios, Vichy showers, steam, sauna and cascading waterfalls.
  • One of the perks of staying in the Octavius and Augustus towers is a private hallway. Once you’ve checked in, the guest rooms are in the opposite direction of the gaming area.
  • The hotel’s Bacchanal Buffet is immense, even by Vegas standards, offering 500 different varieties of food from red velvet waffles to enchiladas, lasagna, made-to-order Chinese soups and sushi to smoked meats, prime rib and wood-fired pizzas.
Things to Know
  • Make advance plans — and go early — when you want to dine at Bacchanal Buffet, which gets extremely busy during peak hours (9 a.m. to noon and 6 to 8 p.m.) and often has a wait of up to an hour. Insider’s tip: You can pay to skip the line.
  • The hotel’s PetStay program allows you to book certain pet-friendly rooms in the Augustus Tower where your four-legged friend will be treated to a welcome amenity as well as food and water bowls.
  • Each pool in the Garden of the Gods sports a different vibe (the Venus Pool is clubby, while the Jupiter Pool is for relaxers) so you can enjoy your pool time any way you choose.
The Rooms
  • The spacious and comfortable rooms are outfitted with contemporary décor yet have a few accents that channel the resort’s Roman theme.
  • The cloudlike bed is swaddled with Anichini linens and though you may have to boost yourself onto the pillow top mattress (it’s a bit tall), laying your head on one of the seven pillows is totally worth it.
  • The cozy sofa is accented by bright red and cream pillows, while the olive green tufted accent chair provides another place to sit. Of course, the Roman flair comes out in the white floor lamp that resembles a Corinthian column.
  • Decked out in marble and dark wood, the bathrooms are spacious and glamorous. Take advantage of the spa tub (it’s big enough for two) and catch your favorite show on the wall-mounted flat-screen TV conveniently placed for a great view from the bath.
The Look
  • Though the Vegas hotel's amenities are elegant, décor in the Octavius and Augustus towers is funky. It conveys a sense of fun in lime green and beige hues accented by risqué artwork that’s a mix of classical Roman and pop art.
  • Rooms are bright and energizing. The patterned gray carpet evokes a contemporary feel, while pops of red and lime green make the room come to life.
  • In the tower hallways, vibrant swirly designs line the carpets. The walls don romantic green-and-black wallpaper with a pattern similar to the carpet.
  • One of the most attractive spaces in the luxury hotel is the Bacchanal Buffet, which consists of three visually aesthetic dining rooms — glass, wood and steel — and is sleek and modern in design.
