Dream Hollywood

Hollywood's hip urban hotel
VERIFIED LUXURY

If you seek to rub shoulders with the city’s millennial jet set in a high-octane atmosphere, stay at Dream Hollywood. Like a Las Vegas all-in-one fun resort, Dream Hollywood — occupying nearly an entire city block — has so much to do with three restaurants, a nightclub, a speakeasy bar, a coffee shop and a rooftop pool. Why bother leaving the property?

The 178 rooms inside this 10-story luxury Hollywood hotel pay homage to the City of Angels with design elements like blue-waved carpet, sand-esque headboards, vinyl turntables and Griffith Park view wall etchings.

A perfect day at Dream Hollywood includes breakfast at the open-air rooftop restaurant Highlight Room with views of the Hollywood sign, followed by a rooftop poolside lounge session in your private cabana. Next, comes dinner at the hotel’s signature restaurant TAO Los Angeles, elevated Asian cuisine in a theatrical 300-seat dining room, complete with larger-than-life Quan Yin and Buddha statues and an abundance of red velvet accents.

After the meal, swing by the glamorous pawn shop at Beauty & Essex for a few must-have glittering baubles before being escorted upstairs to the speakeasy bar for a tipple or two. To work off the liquid indulgences, head to the Lounge nightclub for some grooving, Hollywood Vinyl District-style.

Our Inspector's Highlights

  • A location in the heart of Hollywood — just a block south of the iconic Walk of Stars on Hollywood Boulevard and a block north of Sunset Boulevard — is an incredibly unique amenity. In car-centric L.A., you’re within walking distance of all the action.
  • Curated by Crypt Gallery, one of the leading NFT experts, the NFT art exhibition in the lobby is one of a kind. It was the world’s first hotel NFT show. (The second recently opened in sister property Dream Downtown in New York City.)
  • Everything is at the touch of a button. From concierge to room service, you can access it all with the in-room tablets.
  • Come to the L.A. hotel to enjoy hot spots like TAO and The Highlight Room. The latter’s rooftop perch is a must for unbeatable views of the city skyline.
  • The 10th-floor nightclub atop the rooftop pool is L.A.’s best place to dance with dazzling views under the stars. Reservations are available for bottle service only.

Things to Know

  • Whether you’re a guest or not, book a cabana at Highlight Room’s rooftop pool for an electric day soaking in the rays, grooving to music, sipping craft cocktails and hanging with the beautiful people.
  • Stunning cityscape vistas abound from any of the floor-to-ceiling windows in every room. But opt for a corner suite in this luxury hotel if you want 180-degree views.
  • The Hollywood hotel welcomes your four-legged friends (yes, even cats).
  • Usually, hotel gyms are nothing to write home about, but that’s not the case at Dream Hollywood. Designed by the L.A. Lakers' head trainer, Gunnar Peterson, the gym (also open to the public via membership) is equipped with the latest high-tech equipment so you can get in a workout in less time.
