Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru

An idyllic isle with a wellness bent

Resting on the pristine shores of Baa Atoll, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru showcases wellness, conservation and luxury island living.

While sun, sand and striking ocean views all come standard, the larger of the two Four Seasons properties in Maldives is also home to some impressive extras. Here, you’ll find the most extensive marine conservation center in the country, the world’s first resort offering accredited yoga therapy programs and the DeepFlight Super Falcon 3S — the forefront of submarine technology.

If you can pry yourself from the magnificent ocean hues and private pool villas, head for overwater signature restaurant Al Barakat for Arabian specialties or devour Italian favorites at the stunning beachside Blu.

Our Inspector's Highlights

  • Arrive in style on the Flying Triggerfish, Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru’s colorful DHC-6-300 Twin Otter seaplane. Be spoiled for comfort on the 35-minute journey in one of the eight extra-wide Muirhead leather seats as you take in splendid views from above.
  • Learn about your aquatic surroundings at the resort’s Marine Discovery Centre. Adopt and transplant your own coral, get up close and personal with resident sea turtles, and visit the indoor aquarium and hands-on touch tank.
  • Enjoy your spa treatment in one of two tropical settings: the stilted overwater glass-floor villas or the alfresco Ayurveda pavilions nestled in the medicinal garden. With a strong focus on natural healing, services include blissful chakra massages, panchakarma (cleansing) therapies and multi-day Ayurvedic wellness retreats.
  • Yoga enthusiasts are spoiled for choice with anti-gravity, hatha, ashtanga vinyasa, evening nidra and even aquatic classes. Landaa Giraavaru is the world’s first resort to offer yoga therapy courses and personalized programs in partnership with renowned yoga university S-VYASA.
  • Explore the captivating underworld of Baa Atoll from inside Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru's exclusive DeepFlight Super Falcon 3S submarine (the most advanced model to date) and venture to depths of 120 feet. With only enough room for two (plus a pilot) onboard, this is a contender for one of the most romantic underwater experiences in the country.
