Conrad New York Midtown

A luxurious Midtown stay

Occupying a coveted corner at West 54th Street and Seventh Avenue, Conrad New York Midtown is a prime base for your Big Apple adventures. Easily walk to top attractions like the Museum of Modern Art, Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall, or just take in the views from your suite — the soon-to-debut property boasts 518 of them.

In fact, the high-end hotel almost exclusively offers suites, starting at a spacious 500 square feet. An additional collection of six premium suites provides a home-away-from-home feel, if home had picture-perfect views of the New York skyline, of course.

As tempting as it is to hole up in the luxurious accommodations, don’t miss a chance to explore the property’s vibrant art. Inspired by the city’s own creative history, the hotel proudly displays a curated collection of works from 37 artists, ranging from Warhol pop art pieces to limited-edition photographs by London-based Amy Judd.
Our Inspector's Highlights

  • Conrad New York Midtown’s art collection is impressive. Spread across the property, the pieces range from a post-impressionist lithograph by French painter Henri Matisse to a hyper-realistic sculpture from contemporary artist Carole Feuerman.
  • Unusual for a New York City hotel, this sleek stay offers mostly suites, providing plenty of room to spread out and unwind. Each stylish, Stonehill Taylor-designed accommodation features herringbone wood floors, hand-tufted wool rugs, large bay windows and sleek Carrera marble bathrooms.
  • The property puts you within a 10-minute walk of the New York City’s main attractions, including Central Park, Fifth Avenue shopping, Broadway theaters and Times Square.

Things to Know

  • Alongside its 518 suites, the Midtown hotel provides 44 additional accommodations. Though smaller than the spacious suites, the rooms still start at a fairly generous (by NYC standards, anyway) 325 square feet.
  • You might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a visiting celebrity during your stay. In partnership with press company Junket Production, the property is building four shooting suites to be used by visiting A-listers during film premieres and press tours.
  • Dabble bar and restaurant is an all-day destination for light fare and classic cocktails in a warm, modern setting. During the day, the restaurant offers a vibrant menu from the bar. By night, the lights dim and the space transitions to a buzzy scene.
