Four Seasons Hotel Tunis

A beachfront Tunis retreat

Soak in the beauty of Tunis while enjoying Four Seasons Hotel Tunis' contemporary Arabesque architecture, complete with serene pools, striking fountains and lush gardens. The property’s open-floor plan allows for the fresh breeze and sounds of the sea to waft around, adding to the serene luxury of the stay.

With 203 rooms and suites, the seaside hotel feels intimate while remaining at the center of modern life. It's in the Gammarth neighborhood, just minutes from destinations like the Roman ruins of Carthage and the lovely village of Sidi Bou Said. The hotel can provide a private guide and include a personal picnic when touring these must-visit spots.

When not exploring, enjoy a private beach, two pools, numerous lounge areas, two tennis courts and a high-end spa. And when it comes time for meals, you’ll have plenty of options among the three restaurants, two lounge areas and, of course, room service.

Our Inspector's Highlights

  • For an unparalleled visage, the Four Seasons Seaview Room is a must. Natural light illuminates the marble floors and gentle cream-colored accents, giving the space a Mediterranean feel. The suite also has a marble bathroom featuring a deep soaking tub and a large balcony outfitted with a breakfast table and seating so you can comfortably soak up the vista.
  • The spa features a hammam, a unique service designed to showcase its African influence, and Guerlain facials. During a treatment, expect notes of Turkish coffee, neroli and Tunisian incense to enhance the relaxation. Afterward, enjoy the elegant indoor-outdoor pool.
  • If children are in tow, take advantage of the Kids For All Seasons program. It includes an exclusive kids' plunge pool, a room with games and tailored activities, and a dedicated teen club. Plus, the hotel offers babysitting services if you want a date night.
  • The outdoor infinity pool is not only good for swimming, lounging and nibbling on tasty treats, but it's also the prime spot to catch a sunset. Though, the less-crowded indoor-outdoor spa pool under a beautiful vaulted white ceiling is another enticing option.
  • Hit the beach and enjoy a private 1,640-foot of sand at the Tunis hotel. Camp out on a lounger under the thatched umbrellas and go for a swim when you need to cool off.

The Restaurants

  • For vacation dining, reserve a seat at seafood-heavy BLU Bar & Grill. Here choose to dine by the pool, inside or on the terrace — really, anything goes. But no matter where you're seated, make sure to get the signature seafood tower, an elegant plate of local, fresh and chilled shellfish and accompanying dipping sauces.
  • Get a taste of local cuisine and ingredients at Azur, which specializes in Tunisian food as well as some international specialties. The airy, elegant restaurant overlooks the sparkling Mediterranean Sea, which can best be seen from one of the tables outside.
  • The Creek Bistro Chic and The Creek Lounge offer casual Mediterranean fare with options for indoor, outdoor and bar seating. The bistro provides stunning views of the ocean, as well as lunch and dinner service.
