There is no better place than Tenmasa at Altira Macau to see what Japanese tempura is really all about. Working off recipes handed down over generations from the original Tenmasa in Tokyo, chefs are trained to use all of their senses, including sound, to determine when foods have been fried to perfection. Specialties include tempura oysters, live abalone and king crab.

Ingredients are flown in five days a week from Japan to round out a menu that also includes wagyu beef dishes, sushi and more. Making the restaurant feel even more authentic is the traditional tatami seating and tranquil views of the Macau peninsula. Dining at Tenmasa is an experience where guests are encouraged to relax and leisurely order course by course.
