Hotel Byblos is fresh off a renovation that’s managed to retain the timelessness of one of St. Tropez’s most storied hotels while infusing modernist touches to Byblos Spa by Sisley and other places on property. A standout amenity at the 1960s icon where everyone from Mick and Bianca Jagger to Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton once gathered, Byblos Spa has been tastefully reenvisioned by brother-sister design duo Anthony and Marine Ugo.

The tropical foliage-filled La Cascade room offers three sensory-driven waterfall showers, a holistic highlight along with a new gilded tiled Turkish hammam and tiered sauna. One of the few French spas claiming a longstanding partnership with plant-based skincare line Sisley, Byblos Spa blends the best of the luxury brand’s research-driven products and renowned techniques into its signature treatments — all of which are personalized for rejuvenating, tailormade experiences.

Our Inspector's Highlights

The St. Tropez spa features five treatment spaces, with the pièce de resistance being the couples’ suite. The room is filled with Jerusalem stone plucked from a 17th-century palace in Beirut and assembled piece by piece.
Services include traditional rituals like tension-relieving Thai massages and reflexology, while tech-savvy treatments like HydraFacials work to cleanse, lift and provide anti-aging benefits.
Energy-balancing experiences like reiki, breathwork, sound baths and sound therapy are led by industry luminaries and are available as individual or group sessions.
The Roger Capron-inspired mosaic patio opens up to yoga, meditation and wellness workshops, while the expanded Olive Tree Terrace serves as an outdoor relaxation area to unwind post-treatment. Coaches are also available to lead guided trails along the peninsula’s coastal path and beaches.
Byblos Sport Club offers a stylish equipment line from Technogym, a slick, sand-toned design by celebrated Italian architect Antonio Citterio. In addition to private training sessions, guests can book day-long Epic Journeys. These personal wellness retreats include a custom lunch crafted with vegetables from the garden.

Things to Know

Treatments extend to manicures, pedicures and Sisley hair rituals with revitalizing scalp massages. Additionally, makeup sessions include a Korean lifting mist to ensure all day (or night) wear.
Younger guests ages 3 to 10 can also indulge in 30-minute moisturizing facials and massages perfect post-beach, while men can take advantage of bespoke, anti-aging facials complete with a deep basalt stone massage.
Byblos offers a centerpiece outdoor heated pool surrounded by sun loungers.
