Spa Montage Kapalua Bay, a 30,000-square-foot retreat that is part of the neighboring Montage Kapalua Bay resort, makes the most of its natural tropical surroundings by bringing relaxation outdoors. Spa Montage features indoor as well as outdoor therapy rooms, waterfalls and relaxation lounges, along with a lap pool and fitness programs. The spa encompasses healing traditions from around the world, but adds a touch of Hawaiian culture to each, drawing on the concept of “mauka to makai,” the unwinding trail from mountain to sea.

- Upon arriving in the spa lobby, you’ll immediately partake in rituals meant to appeal to all the senses, from the open-air ocean views to the palette of local aromatherapy oils you are asked to peruse as part of your therapy.

- There’s a high demand for the gentlemen's barbershop, which comes complete with a vintage barber station that provides shaves, facial hair grooming and facial services.
- Shielding trees surrounding the outdoor treatment spaces provide privacy and a touch of nature that nods to the mountain-to-sea theme present throughout the spa.

- Retreat to the quiet indoor treatment rooms for anti-aging facials, body scrubs, sun-recovery therapies, detoxifying cocoons and combination therapies.

- The hydrotherapy circuit gives you a taste of of Maui's mauka (mountain) rain with the bamboo rain showers. The alternating hot and cold raises the heart rate and assists in eliminating toxins.
