Our Inspector's Highlights

  • The surrounding Utah climate may be dry, but water plays a key role at Edge Spa. Both the creek outside and the water features within the building provide a soothing sound and a sense of calm.
  • The Park City spa’s luxe products include all-natural botanical ingredients, some of which have been sourced onsite from Blue Sky Ranch, resulting in a bloom-to-bottle process.
  • Order a spa-inspired snack from Yuta, the resort’s restaurant. Chef Galen Zamarra and his culinary team even have designed menu items that correspond with certain treatments. For example, enjoy hemp-infused chocolate truffles with your CBD massage, or a glass of High West whiskey to go with its eponymous rubdown.
  • Local influences abound in the treatments, from the stress-relieving Sage and Stone Massage to the High West Whiskey Rubdown, named for Park City’s own brown spirits distiller.
  • The rooms are spacious and serene, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the surrounding landscape and creek.

Things to Know

  • Keep in mind that there’s a 24-hour cancellation policy, so be sure to notify the spa a day before your scheduled treatment to avoid being charged for your service.
  • Certain treatments can be enjoyed in the comfort of your own room for an additional charge.
  • Eventually, you will be able to experience alfresco treatments alongside the rushing creek.

The Treatments

  • If you’re feeling stiff after your adventures, opt for Edge Spa’s Back in the Saddle Massage, which relieves soreness and tension in just the right places. It also involves breathwork to reduce inflammation and tightness all over your body.
  • Since the arid Utah weather can dry out your skin, we suggest the Hydrating Oxygen Facial. This treatment imbues moisture, vitamins and antioxidants into your skin, helping it look noticeably rejuvenated and brightened.
  • Edge Spa has extra boosters or enhancements that can be added to any treatment, including CBD oil, oxygen infusion, light therapy, mineral refreshers and a “tech neck” and scalp massage.

The Facilities

  • You’ll want to arrive early to experience the spa’s open-air relaxation pool with a gorgeous view. There’s also a stunning infinity pool and hot tub right next door, where you can take a dip before or after your treatment.
  • The five treatment rooms are spacious with 12-foot-tall windows overlooking Blue Sky Ranch and Venetian-style polished concrete paneling.
  • The contemporary spa building is crowned with a rooftop garden, which helps it blend in with its natural surroundings.
