Raffles Spa

Singapore’s soothing gem

The newly revitalized Raffles Spa offers opulent treatments in a relaxing setting that will turn your city getaway into a renewing spa holiday in downtown Singapore surrounded by palm trees. Gems are an overarching theme here. You’ll sip gem-infused water in the lounge, treatment suites are named after stones and the spa even uses oils infused with gems, such as carnelian and amethyst, known for treating pain and digestion issues.

Highly skilled therapists conduct consultations before a treatment to discuss the best method of care for your particular needs, whether it be a facial for sensitive skin or a detoxing body wrap. Fitness and wellness experts are also on hand to help you reach your personal health goals. Be sure to peruse the Asian-inspired Raffles Spa journeys, which are based on ayurvedic philosophies and energy healing.

Our Inspector's Highlights

  • Arrive early to use the hydrothermal facilities at Raffles Hotel Singapore’s spa. These include a warm Peruvian salt treatment pool, an aromatherapy steam room, an herbal sauna and to finish the rejuvenation and relaxation process, an ice fountain.
  • Raffles Spa exclusively uses ISUN and Biologique Recherche products. ISUN draws on the clean mountain waters of Colorado for its organic skincare line. Cult favorite Biologique Recherche employs a science-driven approach for luxurious bespoke services.
  • Try the Gemstone Massage, which is a signature of the spa. The 90-minute service uses crystals and gem-infused oil to relieve stress and tension.
  • For a pampering experience, reserve the Gem Suite, which has massage beds, a bathroom, a vitality pool and its own entrance. The larger space is great for couples, larger groups or anyone who wants the utmost privacy.
  • Settle in for the Chakra Deep Sleep Ritual, a soothing 120-minute ayurvedic-based treatment that includes a massage and body wrap to help you get you primed for some quality rest.

Things to Know

  • The Singapore spa comes with seven chic treatment rooms in muted gold hues. Each has its own shower and dressing room along with lovely touches like a cascade of fresh orchids and cozy quilts on the massage beds.
  • A visit to Raffles Spa also gives you access to a fitness center, pool and yoga studio.
  • Out on the grand lawn, the spa holds Wellness Wednesday classes. Each week, the session focuses on a way to help you reconnect with your soul, whether it be through sound healing, yoga, meditation or TRE (using the body’s natural reflex mechanism of shaking to release deeply embedded stress).
