What is the waiting area like at OH! Spa?

When you arrive at OH! Spa at Ocean House, you’ll check in with the spa concierge for your treatment, and will be shown to the locker room by an OH! Spa staff member. If you’ve never been to the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa before, your guide will give you a quick tour, pointing out the showers, bathrooms and waiting area before showing you to a locker for you to stash your personal items during your spa visit. Once you change into your robe and slippers, you can enjoy a few minutes in the waiting room — a small area with a sofa and two chairs, magazine rack and plants — before your treatment. There’s not much to do or see here, but it’s a nice, sectioned-off area from the rest of the locker room where you can relax and wait for your therapist to take you to your treatment. Or you can take advantage of the spa amenities such as the herbal steam room and the pool area (located outside the luxury Rhode Island spa). The spa recommends you arrive at least 30 minutes in advance to take advantage of the locker room amenities, we say get there an hour early to pack in the relaxation. If you don’t plan on using either amenity, we think arriving 15 minutes beforehand is plenty of time for you to change into your robe and slippers and make your way to the waiting area.
