Caprice lies within Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong at 8 Finance St. in Central, the business district. It sits at the western edge of the IFC Mall, at the foot of the International Finance Centre. The IFC is one of the city’s iconic office buildings, and its second-tallest structure, readily visible from anywhere in Central, is the heart of the district.
Hong Kong’s very reasonably priced taxis will drop you off outside the Five-Star hotel, or there’s parking within the IFC Mall for private cars. For those who prefer to take public transportation, Hong Kong Station is the nearest MTR (subway) stop, directly below the IFC Mall, which also houses a stop for the Airport Express, a train that takes exactly 23 minutes to reach the airport. You can check your bags and get your boarding pass in town, enjoy a meal at Caprice, and hop on the train to catch your plane.
Central MTR station is a 10- to 15-minute walk to Caprice, connecting via an air-conditioned underground walkway with Hong Kong Station. There are also covered overhead walkways to the IFC Mall and the Hong Kong hotel from many of the office buildings in Central, though again, it will likely require a 10- to 15-minute stroll.
A scenic way to arrive at the restaurant from Tsim Sha Tsui and the other side of Victoria Harbour is via the iconic green-and-white Star Ferry, which takes 10 minutes to cross the harbor from Tsim Sha Tsui. The Star Ferry pier on the Hong Kong side is a 10-minute trek from the French restaurant. The trip costs no more than HK$3 and is one of the city’s great bargains, with a view that’s hard to beat.
