What is the waiting area like at Isala Spa?

While peaceful ambient music and dim lighting from candle-lit decorative sconces fill Isala Spa’s waiting area, you probably won’t be spending much time lounging on the padded, cream-colored benches that wrap around the base of imposing columns erected in the spa’s circular lobby. On our most recent visit to this luxury Macau spa, located on the third level of Grand Hyatt Macau, we were swiftly checked in and ushered into the locker room, where we were free to use gender-separated wet areas that include a freeze shower, small Jacuzzi and steam room. During your visit you’ll also have access to the hotel’s outdoor pool, accessed via a discreet entrance leading out from the locker rooms.

The waiting area at the Grand Hyatt Macau’s Isala Spa is warm and welcoming. Upon your arrival, you will notice a large hanging sculpture of spiraling glass conchiglie, which was created by Jitka Skuhrava of the Czech Republic. There are also several candles in this check-in area (check out the group of candles placed within a circular bed of rocks on the floor) and a semi-circular seating area with accent pillows that are set against a large circular column. It is in this area that you’ll be able to check-in for your spa treatment as well as purchase beauty products such as Mor’s Lychee Luxe gift pack, which includes perfume oil and lip nectar.
