The Mansion at Ocean Edge

Historical charm meets modern luxury
Along the stretches of Cape Cod’s iconic coastline, there are a number of places to stay, from simple tiny beach shacks to grand hotels with bevies of luxe amenities. But the Cape’s natural beauty is always the biggest draw with more than 115 beaches, excellent seaside dining options and a hundred miles of bike paths. The Mansion at Ocean Edge, located in Brewster, is perfectly positioned to enjoy it all. Composed of two unique styles of accommodations, Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club offers The Mansion, a historic Victorian-style property with 90 luxurious rooms (as well as two- and three-bedroom Presidential Bay Collection villas), or the Villages (one-, two- and three- bedroom villas).
Our Inspector's Highlights
  • The 31 two- and three-bedroom Presidential Bay Collection suites are the height of luxury at the resort, with loads of space and amenities like a stocked kitchen, lovely views and upscale Cape Cod décor.
  • The Mansion looks just like an English country manor that might make an appearance in an Agatha Christie novel. It’s a blend of Renaissance Revival and Gothic architecture, with lots of wood, leaded glass windows, historic photos from the Nickersons, and a sprawling lawn outside, which begs for a game of croquet.
  • Ultra-luxurious perks are reserved just for those staying at The Mansion. You have access to the resort’s private beach, with chair, towel, food and beverage service, along with the resort’s Beach Bar with picturesque views of Cape Cod Bay. Another nice touch is the beach bonfires at sunset, an unforgettable way to spend the evening.
  • The resort has the Cape’s only 18-hole Nicklaus Design championship golf course, and a large luxury ballroom, where many a wedding is held.
