Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole

A cozy ski retreat
VERIFIED LUXURY
Laid-back Western style is paired with big-city attention to detail in the full-service Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole, set amid the natural beauty of the Teton Mountains.

Rooms are warm and welcoming, with gas fireplaces and décor that hints at the area's Native American heritage. Besides ski-in/ski-out access to the area's famous trails, the resort boasts a ski concierge, who handles lift tickets, advises skiers on trails and assists with equipment selections.

Reward yourself after a day of skiing or fly-fishing with a meal at the cozy Westbank Grill, where local specialties such as elk osso buco and Utah lamb two ways fill the menu, or the more casual Handle Bar, where you can enjoy hearty fare such as elk chili with cheddar, scallions and Fritos, or barbecue-braised short ribs.

Our Inspector's Highlights
  • Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole is about a 30-minute drive from the Jackson Hole Airport. It’s near enough to be accessible, but far enough to put you right in the middle of some of the best wilderness North America has to offer.
  • With two fantastic restaurants and an array of other dining venues, you’ll eat well here. Look for local specialties, such as elk chili and venison sausage, on top of unexpected-for-Wyoming dishes like sushi and house-made ramen.
  • From the moment you walk into the lobby with its roaring fireplace, you’ll be welcomed like a long-lost friend by the cheerful and helpful staff. There’s nothing they won’t do to make your trip special.
  • The Five-Star hotel has two outdoor whirlpools and a large heated swimming pool that’s open year-round. An inviting fireplace, robe and towel warmers, and a bar make the pool area welcoming and comfortable, even on the coldest Wyoming days.
  • Children’s needs are taken care of at this pro-family property. Babysitters are available 24 hours a day, and all of the restaurants offer kid-friendly fare.
Things to Know
  • Kids as young as three can try ski lessons at this slopeside Jackson Hole resort.
  • Animal lovers and nature enthusiasts will enjoy activities like the in-house safari to nearby Grand Teton National Park or stargazing with an astronomer.
  • The friendly staff can assist you in setting up an itinerary tailored to your specific needs, whether you want to spend your time in the Five-Star hotel indoors or out.
  • An in-house ski concierge makes hitting the slopes simple, whether it's your first time or your hundredth.
The Rooms
  • There are seven different types of guest rooms and suites available at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole. Each one offers something a little different, but all are comfortable and luxurious.
  • No matter which room you choose, you’ll have a private balcony, a gas fireplace, a flat-screen television, a great bed, an espresso maker and a comfortable seating area.
  • You’ll feel like you have your own private ski chalet, with a stone fireplace, walls and built-in dressers made of oak and rich, brown leather upholstery on a comfortable armchair.
  • The wild West outside the window inspires the artwork in your room, such as horse sculptures and prints of indigenous paintings.
The Restaurants
  • Ascent Lounge is home to one of the resort’s few wood-burning fireplaces — that alone would be enough to make it an appealing spot. Add to it super-soft chairs, an extensive cocktail menu, seasonal sushi, bar bites and live music and you’ve got the perfect spot to relax after a long day.
  • Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, Westbank Grill is one of Jackson Hole’s best restaurants. You can’t beat its Oscar Benedict with a Dungeness crab cake and asparagus for breakfast.
  • At dinnertime, Westbank Grill becomes a mountain steakhouse — prime beef is cooked to perfection on a 1,800-degree infrared grill. The wine list includes 25 selections by the glass.
  • The Handle Bar is an American pub by acclaimed chef Michael Mina. Expect modern pub fare, such as braised pork bao buns and elk chili topped with cheddar, scallions and Fritos. Wash it all down with a Wild Side Ale, the resort's custom beer.
  • The new champagne igloo, Fahrenheit 47, serves bubbles by the glass and bottle during the winter months from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
