The luxury hotel’s secluded location in the fairly undeveloped Taling Ngam area is all part of its charm, inviting very little foot traffic and even less reason to leave the gorgeous resort.

While there’s a lot to love about this retreat, the views are what really captivate. From the moment you set foot on the cobblestone roundabout that leads up to the hotel’s lobby, you’re greeted with an uninterrupted blue sky and calm aqua waters stretching out to an infinite horizon.

“Farm to table” isn’t an overused phrase, but a way of life at Conrad Koh Samui. Not only do the luxury hotel’s dining venues source all their produce from the onsite Iris Farm, but they also roast their own coffee, cure their own salmon, brew their own kombucha, and more.
The property’s stunning hillside location can be both captivating and challenging. Steep walkways may be difficult to traverse, but luckily, resort staff is happy to provide a lift in one of the property’s fun, floral-printed golf carts.
A recently refurbished gym provides all the daily activities (such as Thai boxing) and high-tech gadgets fitness enthusiasts could want, including Life Fitness entertainment systems that allow you to sync your workout to your Apple or Samsung Galaxy watch.
Conrad Koh Samui Spa embraces light as an element of tranquility by keeping those enviable gulf views front and center. The sauna and tranquility shower both boast floor-to-ceiling windows and spa suites feature sliding doors that lead out to ocean-view private patios.
Breakfast at Zest is a stand-out experience, not only for the aforementioned vistas but because Conrad Koh Samui’s sourced-locally ethos is on full display. Bread baked that morning, jams made in house and fruit plucked fresh from the garden are all on offer here, alongside dim sum, Thai staples and a quirky smoothie bar where you blend your own beverage via a stationary bike.

Generally speaking, the higher the room number is here, the better the view. To ensure an uninterrupted vista (some villas on the outer flanks have views partially obstructed by foliage), request a unit in the center of the resort.
