Our Inspector's Highlights
• The service is a standout at this luxurious Miami hotel— all staff members manage to be extremely attentive, helpful, intuitive, and genuinely friendly without ever hovering over you.

• Every room features a private balcony (some even feature two balconies) with views of Coconut Grove’s urban landscape, Miami’s skyline, or Biscayne Bay.

• The 24-hour gym features complimentary access to the sauna, steam room, and relaxation lounge that are part of the hotel’s boutique spa. Other luxurious gym amenities include chilled towels, bath products and an assortment of refreshments such as citrus-infused water and assorted hot teas.

• The immaculate infinity pool at the Miami hotel is heated and open 24 hours. So, no matter what the weather’s like outside, swimming laps or splashing around with friends becomes a luxurious endeavor.

• When it comes to outdoor eating and drinking, the Ritz gives you plenty of options. You can choose to enjoy your shrimp cocktail poolside  — as you people-watch behind oversized sunglasses, in typical Miami style.
Things to Know
• While the Wi-Fi works extremely well in the guestrooms at the Four-Star hotel, it isn’t complimentary. Wi-Fi charges start at $9 per day, while valet parking is $15 for the day rate or $33 overnight.

• Provided nightly, the turndown service at the Ritz turns your room into a refuge of relaxation — from the cozy turned-down covers of soft white linens to the low lighting to the tasty chocolate treats.

• Be on the lookout for a masterpiece when wandering the halls—the Ritz is surrounded by well-manicured Italian Renaissance-style gardens and filled with antiques and artwork from around the world.
The Rooms
• Rooms here have a soothing color scheme of taupe and cream with accents of peach and coral.

• The furniture is decidedly classic with a subtle Plantation feel in the lamps with the palm frond detail and the pillows with a stylized tropical bloom.

• Other nice touches at this Miami hotel include plush towels and robes, Bulgari bath products, and thoughtful amenities such as dental kits, shaving kits, cotton swabs, shower caps, nail files, and combs.

• The spacious, well-lit bathrooms are dripping with opulent white-and-grey marble adorning the separate bathtubs and showers. Showers are outfitted with GE massage showerheads that have multiple settings for customizable water pressure.
The Restaurants
• Grab a plate and hit Bizcaya’s elaborate breakfast buffet. It’s perfect for tasting a little bit of this (fluffy waffles) and a little bit of that (a made-to-order omelet), and pairing it with your choice of fresh juice.

• Bizcaya offers the best in al fresco dining for breakfast, brunch and lunch with a lush garden, a cascading waterfall and candlelit outdoor tables.

• Whether you opt for grouper or shrimp, the fresh ceviche at Lazuli Lounge is a must, made with homegrown Florida lemons, limes, and/or oranges, serrano peppers and cilantro, and served with plantain chips.

• Choose three for this customizable collection of mini desserts at Lazuli Lounge. Choices may include chocolate soup, crème brûlée, mixed berry sabayon, orange rice pudding, key lime mousse, coconut mousse, and Florida citrus parfait.
