The Ritz-Carlton, Naples

A reimagined South Florida icon

A beacon of beachside luxury on Florida’s Gulf Coast, The Ritz-Carlton, Naples reopened its doors in 2023 after a highly anticipated multi-million-dollar renovation. New culinary concepts and redesigned guest rooms were among the sumptuous upgrades made to the high-end hotel, but an elevated Club Level experience is the highlight of the historic restoration. A sprawling new Club Lounge — the largest one yet for the brand — boasts private dining rooms and a menu of curated programming that promises to bring a local taste of Naples to your stay.

Not neglecting its sun-loving clientele, the Naples resort made enriching enhancements to its outdoor spaces, too. New cabanas and poolside bungalows add an extra dose of luxury to your pool day, while seaside favorite restaurant Gumbo Limbo received some additional updates following damage sustained by Hurricane Ian in 2022.

Joining the newly refreshed outdoor spaces, The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Naples also unveiled a new look and revamped treatment menu.

Our Inspector's Highlights

  • Beat the South Florida heat in one of The Ritz-Carlton, Naples’ air-conditioned poolside bungalows. Cascading doors provide extra privacy while you enjoy a poolside bath, watch TV or serve yourself from your own dedicated bar.
  • The addition of the 14-floor Vanderbilt Tower made way for more than 70 Club Level rooms complete with dedicated check-in and an expansive 4,000-square-foot Club Lounge. You will want to spend time in the lounge to nosh on the various bites served throughout the day, enjoy the full-service bar and take in the ocean vistas from the floor-to-ceiling windows.
  • The art-deco-inspired Lobby Bar is an elegant homage to Naples’ history as a South Florida society hot spot. A stunning chandelier anchors the spectacular champagne bar (choose from more than 50 bottles of bubbly), while double-height windows flood the space with natural light and keep the beach top of mind.
  • All 474 accommodations also benefited from a refresh courtesy of architect Cooper Carry and renowned firm Parker-Torres Design. Among the updates are stunning marble bathrooms featuring striking brass accents and deep-soaking tubs.
  • The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Naples features a tranquil coastal-inspired look alongside a locally themed treatment menu.

The Restaurants

  • The Lobby Bar is more than just a stunning space in which to enjoy an evening cocktail. The venue features a master-sommelier-designed champagne tasting menu, where glasses of bubbly are paired with elevated bites like oysters, caviar and gold-leaf-tinged wagyu truffle sliders.
  • Vegetable-forward restaurant Sofra serves up shareable plates inspired by Eastern Mediterranean flavors curated by executive chef Satish Yerramilli. Highlights include braised artichokes and an olive oil cart serving samples along with housemade bread.
  • Gumbo Limbo is an alfresco seaside staple serving up super-fresh seafood alongside ocean breezes. Grab a table at sunset to enjoy one of South Florida’s most beautiful views with a cocktail in hand.
  • Elegant white-tablecloth-clad dining room The Grill is a chic option for dry-aged steaks and fresh seafood paired with a well-curated wine list.
  • For specialty cocktails and small plates, head for local favorite Asian-fusion spot Dusk.
