Our Inspector's Highlights

The understated luxurious marble, wood and leather interiors feature walls with portraits of celebrities like Sophia Loren bedecked in Bvlgari jewels, a bold black ceiling that creates the feeling of dining under the night sky and sublime views of the turquoise gulf through floor-to-ceiling windows.
The seasonal five- and seven-course tasting menus are an excellent choice to sample a variety of interesting dishes, such cold made-from-scratch tagliolini with Mazara red prawns, Osetra caviar and almond. Wine pairing options are available.
Inspired by regional specialties and classic Italian flavors, chef Romito’s progressive take on Italian cuisine comes from his career-long research and development of precise cooking techniques that make each of his dishes original. The staff is generous with recommendations as well as cultural context for the items on the menu.
Fit for a Mediterranean feast, the seafood is a highlight. Be sure to try the warm king crab salad with Osetra caviar; steamed scorpionfish, mussels, clams and red prawns in a rosemary, sage and tomato sauce; and linguine with lobster and red prawns.
If the weather permits, ask for a table on the terrace to enjoy charming views of the marina alongside the finest Italian wines.

The Food

On the menu, vegetarians are well-catered to both with a five-course tasting and the à la carte menu, which features dishes such as spaghetti with tomato sauce, and glazed eggplant with tomato, basil, capers and olives .
Recommended selections for meat lovers include the Milanese-style veal and grilled Australian wagyu sirloin steak.
Save space for desserts such as buffalo ricotta gelato with fresh blackberry compote drizzled with traditional balsamic vinegar aged for over 25 years, and light and airy puff pastry with dark chocolate and orange caramel.
