Situated inside the luxurious Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach, Jové Kitchen & Bar (pronounced joe-vay), is the latest addition to the property’s other two dining options (Graze and Atlantic Bar & Grill). Putting a twist on everyday Italian fare, chef Luca Moriconi prides himself on creating homemade dishes from scratch and introduces novel techniques to authentic Italian cuisine.

Expect to see everything from rigatoni carbonara alongside white sturgeon caviar, guanciale and a soft poached egg to Angus short ribs with baby carrots, white asparagus, horseradish gremolata and arancini. And for dessert, try the crema bruciata (vanilla custard topped with a burnt caramel) or the tiramisu.

The fine dining restaurant can be accessed through the hotel’s elegant lobby, which sets the tone for the exquisite experience that awaits diners at Jové Kitchen & Bar. So once you’ve arrived at the east end of the lobby, a few steps up will take you to the restaurant, which continues the lobby’s neutral look with its soft colors and subdued lighting.

•Let the restaurant’s attentive staff cater to your every need should you choose to dine indoors or alfresco on The Terrace with its oceanfront views and picturesque skies.

•Despite any images one might have of this being a typical south Florida oceanfront resort with steel bands, live music or an active resort bar and beach scene, it is not. The overall scene here is subdued.

•The bar, which is open from 4:30 p.m. to midnight every evening, features a roster of more than 100 regional and Italian wines.
Things to Know
•Should you just be in the mood for a couple of small bites, the Chicchetti section of the menu offers stone-fired pizzas (think prosciutto or fennel sausage) or snacks such as pink shrimp crudo.

•Patrons who would like to be seated inside Jové Kitchen & Bar are a little more conservative in their attire (think jackets, Oxford shirts and dress pants for men and little black dresses for women) than the guests who dine on The Terrace (see casual polo shirts and khaki pants for men and blouses and skirts for women).
