The Spa & Salon at ARIA

VERIFIED LUXURY
The sleek and modern Spa & Salon at ARIA takes its inspiration from nature, with Aji stone, water gardens and ample natural light creating a sense of warmth, calm and tranquility. Besides a slew of treatments, the spa offers unique relaxation rooms. The salt room is literally a breath of fresh air — its salty air will leave your skin looking refreshed. The heated-stone ganbanyjoku beds are another highlight — they are said to accelerate metabolisms, soothe muscles and eliminate toxins. Body treatments range from Thai massage to body buffs; the onsite salon completes the pampering experience with a full range of manicures, pedicures and styling services.

Our Inspector's Highlights
• The treatment rooms. With a calming and neutral décor, the rooms feature granite accents and details like orchids on the counters. The attentive therapists made us comfortable in the rooms, offering us refreshments before and after treatments.

• The wet areas at the glamourous hotel spa are a highlight of the Las Vegas spa.

• An infinity-edge therapy pool is located on the balcony and includes padded chaise lounges.

• The whirlpool might not have the same serenity as the indoor spa — it overlooks ARIA’s pools — but we like having the option of alfresco lounging.

• The Classic Spa Suite package includes three hours of treatments, plus access to a hydrotherapy tub, food and drinks and a personal spa host.
Things to Know
• Be sure to allow loads of time before and after your treatments to enjoy the spectacular facilities; the 80,000-square-foot spa is not the place for a quick facial or massage.

• ARIA’s serene spa is designed to help you unwind, decompress and enter a state of utter serenity. To that end, cell phone use is prohibited throughout the entire space.

• Though the Vegas spa wasn't filled to capacity when we visited, we recommend booking at least a week in advance to score your desired day and time.

• Snagging an appointment at the Four-Star spa is easy — simply call the spa directly (or the concierge if you're staying at Aria Resort) or request an appointment online and a reservations agent will contact you promptly to confirm your desired time and treatment.

• Reservations are accepted up to three months in advance, so if you're worried about getting in, book as soon as you've decided on a treatment.
The Treatments
• Thai poultice massage eases tension using warm bags filled with fragrant lemongrass, ginger and prai extract, which has long been used in Thailand. The full-body rubdown incorporates Swedish and other massage techniques and you can keep one of the herb-filled bags to use in a bath or shower later.

• We recommend adding the green rea eye treatment to a massage for extra pampering. Green tea compresses provide the delicate eye area with an antioxidant infusion and marble stones are used to massage facial muscles.

• We can’t think of a better place than Las Vegas to have a facial infused with diamonds and other precious gems, and the one here also uses extracts of orchids, peonies and rose to seal in the anti-aging benefits. Add in a thermal mask and you’re guaranteed to sparkle.

• The Asian bathhouse ritual is a unique hydrating treatment that involves an exfoliation using a body mitt under the Vichy shower and two masks: one made with hydrating yogurt for your body and a cooling cucumber mask for your face and neck.

• Sin City makes us want to detox, which inevitably brings us to the spa’s seaweed wrap. The ocean gunk contains tons of vitamins and minerals for your skin and leaves it super smooth.
The Facilities
• Though it's nearly impossible not relax throughout your ARIA spa day, the spot boasts certain areas that will turbo-charge your tranquility.

• The nature-inspired relaxation area on the second floor of the spa has plenty of chaise lounges for you to kick back and unwind before or after your treatment.

• In the Shio salt room, a wall of illuminated salt bricks is said to heal skin irritations and upper respiratory issues. Here you can sink into a vibrating lounge chair and inhale air that is designed to leave your skin radiant and dewy.

• This Vegas spa is the only place in the country with Japanese Gabanyoku beds, heated stone slabs that increase body circulation and metabolic speed while soothing muscles and eliminating toxins.

• In addition to a steam room and sauna, wet areas off the men’s and women’s locker rooms each include three whirlpools set to different temperatures.
