With only five treatment suites, the tropical spa ensures an intimate experience surrounded by the island’s lush terrain. Open-air windows let in the Indian Ocean sea breeze, while warm wood tones bring nature into each space. The spa also features vibrant floral arrangements, muted blue and beige tones, dark metal hardware and natural rattan accents.

Within the five treatment suites at the Seychelles spa, the freestanding stone soaking tubs are definitely worth booking time to enjoy.
In addition to traditional treatments, the luxury spa offers complimentary morning and evening connection ceremonies. These include stretches, mantras and meditation to inspire intention and gratitude.
An array of yoga classes is held in uniquely beautiful settings: on Desroches Island’s airstrip runway, at the tropical spa’s yoga pavilion and on the beach overlooking the Indian Ocean.
One of the treatment add-ons is a tea ceremony, which is a lovely way to quench your thirst while learning about the blends on offer.
Indulge in one of the Sensory Connection Rituals. These services are themed and combine multiple spa services, such as the Joyful and Holistic ritual that includes the Dreamsight acupressure massage, a smudging ceremony, meditation and rainbow bath.

The Treatments

For a soothing massage, the Sound of the Waves employs a rolling technique using eggs filled with hot baobab seeds to replicate the waves outside.
The Myrrh and Omumbiri body polish moves through three circular exfoliation strengths, massaging a blend of sugar, coconut shell, rooibos tea flakes, sweet myrrh and kigelia into your skin for optimal moisturizing and healing.
Try the Tropical Enzyme Purification, a potent facial that uses lymphatic drainage techniques and enzyme-exfoliating papaya and pineapple.
For a tropical mood boost, an excellent add-on service is the sound immersion with chimes, kalimbas and soothing rain sticks.
