Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest

Gastronomy and luxury in Budapest
Set in the heart of Budapest’s thriving downtown, with its terrace backing onto the road colloquially known as Fashion Street, Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest combines the luxury of contemporary design with the best in the city’s gastronomy scene topped off with its Zen in-house spa.

This modern hotel connects to local history through the customized designs of its suites and an extensive and diverse collection of original Hungarian art. Its elegant rooms deliver all the 21st-century comforts that travelers expect.

In an effort to keep the Budapest property new and fresh, the Kempinski Hotel has been undergoing a multi-stage, multi-million dollar renovation that most recently saw a complete redesign of 105 Deluxe rooms, 71 signature Corvinus rooms and 40 suites.
Our Inspector's Highlights
  • Embracing the hotel’s core philosophy of beauty, culture and gourmet cuisine, the Gastronomic Quarter Downtown Budapest provides a selection of culinary delights on the property’s premises.
  • Linked onto the pool area behind another corridor, the tepidarium is a perfect place for repose before detoxing in your choice of steam rooms and saunas.
  • The aroma of essential oils hangs in the air of the spa lobby, which is decked out with chairs where you can delight in a fresh drink or even order from ÉS Deli before embarking on treatments.
  • The five Corvinus Art Collection suites sport their own unique design inspired by Hungarian history and culture, like the Herend porcelain in the aptly named Herend Suite.

  • Post spa treatment, recline on the resting beds or take a swim in the tranquil pool, which is equipped with a jet stream and Jacuzzi.

  • The spa also offers a selection of services from massages to facials, but its signature treatment is the Hungarian Holistic Journey, a Hungary mud wrap to help rejuvenate skin and relieve joint pain. It is followed by a choice of scalp massage or hydrating express facial.
Things to Know

The Rooms

The Restaurants

  • For those who prefer a cup of afternoon tea or gourmet coffee, the Living Room puts out a variety of beverages and a selection of cakes.
  • Another jewel in the Kempinski gastronomic crown is Nobu, hailed chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa’s avant-garde culinary fusion of Japanese-Peruvian cuisine.
  • You can also find classic and innovative cocktails at Blue Fox The Bar, which also turns out shareable plates and bar snacks.
